The main stair... as well as the basement stairs... are exposed white pine with standard railings & spindles with white pine flooring on the landing (photo above).
The loft, where has an office, has planked white pine flooring (photos at top left). The planked kitchen ceiling is the underside of the loft floor enhanced with exposed timber beams. A nifty custom built-in cook book shelf sits at the edge of the kitchen... it also hides the return air duct.
In the basement, atrium, and guest apartment have white pine trim, doors, stairs and ceilings for consistency with the log home (photos to left).

The master bedroom has a high cathedral ceiling with casement windows on either side of the bed for great air flow in mild weather months. The master bath is a combination of framed and log walls with white pine trim and solid pine doors.

In this log home, the interior walls are framed with drywall and white pine trim. It includes timber collar ties in the ceiling along with tongue & groove to match the log walls. This room is only 27'4" x 18'4", but the high ceilings make it feel much larger. The windows are positioned across from each other to provide cross flow of air during mild weather months (photo to right).

Early American White Pine with dry stack stone applied to the exterior basement walls. The floor plan is not traditional, but spacious. The home is 3,272 square feet plus a 2 car garage and contains three bedrooms, three full baths, and two half baths.
